RodeoStat Refund and Cancellation Policy

The short version

• Cancel any time in your account settings. No phone call, no email, no retention script.
• Cancellation stops the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• First-time subscribers get a money-back window: 14 days on monthly, 30 days on annual.
• Additional performances are charged when you open them and are non-refundable after that, unless the problem was on our side.
• DTA Builder refunds if the output is unusable, within 7 days.
• Bought through the App Store or Google Play? Refunds come from them, not us.

1. Automatic Renewal: Please Read

RodeoStat subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

• We charge the payment method on file on each renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period.
• Renewal continues at the then-current price. We give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase.
• Annual subscribers receive an email reminder before each renewal, including the renewal date, amount, and cancellation instructions.
• After every purchase we send an acknowledgment containing your subscription terms and how to cancel.

2. How to Cancel

2.1 If you subscribed on rodeostat.com

1. Sign in at rodeostat.com
2. Go to Account → Subscription
3. Select Cancel Subscription
4. Confirm

That's it. Cancellation is available online, takes effect immediately upon confirmation, and requires no contact with us. We will send a confirmation email. If you don't receive one within an hour, contact support@rodeostat.com: the cancellation still stands, but we want to make sure it processed.

2.2 If you subscribed through the Apple App Store

Cancel through Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or through the App Store app. We cannot cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf.

2.3 If you subscribed through Google Play

Cancel through the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.

2.4 If you can't access your account

Email support@rodeostat.com from the address on your account with the subject "Cancel Subscription." We will process it and confirm. We will not require a phone call, and we will not route you through a retention offer.

3. What Happens When You Cancel

• You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. A monthly subscriber who cancels on day 3 has access through day 30.
• No further charges will be made.
• Included performance credits for the current period remain usable until the period ends.
• You can export your data during your remaining access period and for 30 days after it ends.
• You can resubscribe at any time, though pricing may have changed.

4. Refunds

4.1 New Subscriber Money-Back Window

Request a full refund within the window by emailing support@rodeostat.com. No explanation required.

This applies to your first subscription only, not to renewals, and not to a second subscription after a prior cancellation.

4.2 Renewals

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the charge.

Exception: we'll make it right. If you were charged for a renewal you didn't intend and you contact us within 14 days of the charge and haven't materially used the Services in that period, we will refund it. We'd rather have a customer who trusts us than a renewal charge they didn't mean to spend.

4.3 Performance Credits

Additional performances are purchased at the time you open them; credits cannot be bought in advance. Included credits have no cash value and are not refundable separately from the subscription.

4.4 DTA Builder (Per Transaction)

Send the file and a short description of the problem to support@rodeostat.com.

4.5 DTA Cleaner

DTA Cleaner is free. No charges, no refunds. It is provided as-is with no warranty.

4.6 Service Failure

If the Services are materially unavailable for a continuous period exceeding 24 hours due to a failure on our side, contact us and we will issue a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance, third-party failures outside our control, or problems with your own connectivity or hardware.

4.7 If We Terminate for Convenience

If we discontinue a Service or terminate your account for convenience, we will refund prepaid, unused fees on a pro-rata basis.

4.8 If We Terminate for Cause

If we terminate your account for breach of the Terms of Service, including credential sharing, scraping, or unlawful use, fees are non-refundable.

5. How Refunds Are Issued

• Refunds go to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
• Processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
• Refunds are issued in U.S. dollars. Currency conversion differences and foreign transaction fees charged by your bank are outside our control.
• Sales tax is refunded proportionally with the refunded amount.

6. App Store and Google Play Purchases

If you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, we cannot issue you a refund. Those platforms handle billing and refunds under their own policies.

• Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Google Play: request a refund through the Play Store or at play.google.com

The money-back windows in Section 4.1 apply only to purchases made directly on rodeostat.com.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most disputes are billing errors we can resolve in a day, and a chargeback costs us a fee and gets your account suspended while it's investigated.

Email support@rodeostat.com and give us a chance first. If we can't resolve it, dispute away.

8. Free Trials and Promotions

Where we offer a free trial:

• We will tell you the trial length, what happens at the end, and the amount you will be charged, before you start it.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.
• We will send a reminder before the trial converts.
• Cancel during the trial through your account settings and you will not be charged.

Promotional pricing applies for the stated period, after which the subscription renews at the standard rate, with 30 days' notice before the first standard-rate charge.

9. Taxes

Refunds include any sales, use, or similar tax collected on the refunded amount. Where a taxing authority has already been remitted, refund timing may follow that authority's process.

10. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract. This includes consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and equivalent protections in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Where such a right applies and gives you more than this policy does, that right applies.
